Job summary

onsemi Malaysia is seeking a Diploma-holding engineer to join our manufacturing quality/testing team. The role focuses on semiconductor testing, turret-based handling, and vision inspection, requiring practical experience in a testing environment.

The candidate should be collaborative, with good verbal/written communication, analytical skills, initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision to meet MTBA targets and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering in Electrical/Mechatronic/Electronics with semiconductor testing exp.
• Knowledge of turret-based handler, multisite testing, and automatic vision inspection.
• Good communication, teamwork, initiative, urgency, problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine RCM to maintain equipment.
• Attend repair tickets promptly to ensure uptime.
• Coordinate with shift ME to deliver on time.
• Isolate vision/test rejects to control scrap.
• Adhere to OCAP, SOP and buyoff checklists.
