Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. Batu Kawan, Penang invites a GEL Technician to join our quality team. You will perform outgoing QA inspections, support SMT and TEST processes, and help ensure document integrity and compliance.

Candidates should have a Diploma or equivalent and 2–5 years in a semiconductor lab or analytical setting, with experience in reliability, test and FA tools. Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required; 2–5 years in semiconductor lab or analytical lab.
• Experience with Reliability, Test and FA tools/techniques.
• Field of Study: Mechanical, E&E, Chemical, Material, Science.

Responsibilities

• Perform Outgoing QA inspection based on OSI/OBA procedures and AWS criteria.
• Familiar with SMT & TEST processes and CTO/product label inspections.
• Understand and extract data for performance reports.
• Report quality defects/issues and drive closure.
• Perform verification on closure actions.
• Provide shift-level support and assist Quality Inspectors.
• Follow safety procedures and area work rules.
• AI proficiency or AI-enabled workflows where applicable (e.g., Cloud Assist, Code Assist).
