The Security Team Leader supports the Security Supervisor by guiding Security Officers to ensure proper procedures and inspections are followed. This role covers the duties of the Security Supervisor in their absence.

What will I be doing?

As Security Team Leader, your responsibilities include:

  1. Supervising security shifts to maintain patrols and ensure guest and staff safety.
  2. Checking fire equipment and evacuation routes.
  3. Reporting maintenance issues to Engineering during patrols.
  4. Understanding and supervising department procedures, security knowledge, and emergency protocols.
  5. Conducting random bag inspections of team members.
  6. Ensuring asset removal policies are followed.
  7. Arranging escorts for team members with cash, if needed.
  8. Maintaining perimeter patrols to prevent loitering.
  9. Assessing team members’ knowledge, discipline, and responsibilities.
  10. Implementing work arrangements and training plans.
  11. Inspecting the hotel for security compliance, fire exits, and equipment accessibility.
  12. Handling guest complaints professionally.
  13. Being familiar with first aid and fire emergency procedures.
  14. Maintaining cleanliness and professionalism in your work area and appearance.
  15. Fostering positive interactions with team members and ensuring effective communication.
  16. Adhering to hotel policies, Hilton’s code of conduct, and team member handbook.
  17. Performing other duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
