Job summary

UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to mature its GIS security engineering capabilities. You will drive reliability, automation and observability across critical cybersecurity platforms and work with engineering teams on incident handling and resilience.

The role requires 5-8 years in SRE/DevOps, strong Linux/Windows admin skills, and hands-on experience with Splunk, Grafana, and automation tooling.

Qualifications

5-8 years experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform/Infrastructure/Security Engineering.
Linux and/or Windows administration experience.
Experience with observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus).
Hands-on scripting and automation (Python/PowerShell; Ansible).
Familiarity with networking, distributed systems and incident management.
Experience with CyberArk, XDR, HIPS or SIEM platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the establishment and maturation of GIS Security Engineering SRE capability.
Improve reliability, scalability, observability, automation and operational excellence of cybersecurity platforms.
Operate and support SIEM, Syslog, XDR, HIPS, CyberArk, SOAR, TIP, NDR, IPS and related security platforms.
Develop automation using Python, Ansible, APIs and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
Implement and maintain observability dashboards using Splunk, Grafana and monitoring platforms.
Define and track SLIs, SLOs and Error Budgets for critical services.
Maintain runbooks, SOPs and knowledge management artifacts.
Support production handover and operational readiness reviews with Engineering teams.
Participate in on-call support, disaster recovery and resilience testing.
