Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks a Non-Management Loss Prevention & Security professional. You will patrol the property, secure rooms, assist guests with access, and maintain safety and order.

Responsibilities include emergency drills, hazard inspections, investigations, CCTV monitoring, access control, and incident reporting. You will support management, protect assets, and uphold company policies while ensuring guest safety.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property; secure rooms; assist guests with room access.
• Conduct emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audit.
• Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems; authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas.
• Assist guests/employees during emergencies; respond to accidents; contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required.
• Defuse disturbances and ensure compliance with alcohol laws; train and coach employees; protect company assets.
