Job summary

Aurelius Hospital Negeri Sembilan is seeking a dedicated Security Officer responsible for maintaining safety and security within the facility. This role includes monitoring surveillance equipment, responding to emergencies, and ensuring the safety of both personnel and visitors. Ideal candidates will have prior security experience, excellent communication skills, and no criminal record, and must be physically fit to work in shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification SPM or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in security management.
• No criminal record & No bad record with Home Affairs of Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment (CCTV).
• Responding to alarms/incidents/emergencies as per policy.
• Issuing and retrieving keys taken by department staff.

Responsibilities

• The Security Officer shall report for duty 10 minutes early before his shift start and ensure that he clock in for work. His work station will be at Control Room and should ensure that no unauthorized person allowed inside.
• The Security Officer on duty should give a full briefing and clarify on his shift activity and any outstanding matters to the relief Security Officer.
• Respond to all alarms/ incidents/ emergencies such as hospital codes, fire alarm, PA system, intruder alarm at IT server room, medical gas, mantrap etc. and attend according to policy and procedure within the target timeline.
• Issue and retrieve back any keys taken by any department staff and to ensure proper recording.
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment (CCTV), inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirement; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; request for repairs and maintenance.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, properly patrol, traffic control and accident investigations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Undertake any other tasks and assignments as directed by superior or management.
