MAS Awana Services Sdn Bhd, formerly known as MAS Catering (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd., was incorporated on January 2, 1996, and began operations on July 1, 1996. Initially serving Malaysia Airlines flights from Kuching, its services expanded in 2012 to include MASwings, Malaysia Airlines, and foreign carriers at Kota Kinabalu. In 2013, a Centralized Production Unit (CPU) was established at Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi Business Park in Sepang to cater food and beverages for Malaysia Airlines’ Golden Lounges at KLIA. The company is HACCP, GMP, MeSTI certified, and HALAL certified by JAKIM.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Officer In-Flight Catering located in Sepang. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the in-flight catering facilities, personnel, and operations. Daily tasks include monitoring security systems, conducting routine inspections, controlling access points, and responding to security incidents. The Security Officer is also expected to maintain detailed records of security activities and collaborate with other team members to enforce security protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in security and safety protocol implementation
• Knowledge of security systems and emergency response procedures
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights and weekends
