Security Manager (Sarawak)

Job Purpose:

• Responsible for creating a conducive and safe environment for all employees and stakeholders by providing physical security protection, conducting risk assessments, and delivering security awareness programs. The objective is to minimize risks, enhance safety, and optimize production. Additionally, accountable for raising awareness to counteract rice smuggling activities and effectively managing information provided by informers regarding rice contraband issues.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop security procedures for all stakeholders.
2. Ensure that the security vendor adheres to BERNAS's requirements.
3. Implement effective access control measures and maintain the security of the company's perimeter.
4. Conduct investigations into security incidents and provide accurate and timely reports to management.
5. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
6. Manage the appointment of security vendors and adjust locations or CSAs as needed.
7. Raise awareness among enforcement agencies regarding processes related to incoming rice from overseas and inland rice trading.
8. Address information from informers or whistleblowers regarding suspicious sellers.
9. Support enforcement agencies in tackling illicit rice trade activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

• At least 10 years of experience in Security and Safety management or related field.

Job Details:

• Salary: RM8,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
