The CCTV & Network Wiring Installation Technician is responsible for executing physical installation and cabling work at customer sites, focusing on structured network wiring and CCTV system setups. This role does not include system configuration or software setup but emphasizes high-quality, neat, and efficient cabling and hardware installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site installation of CCTV systems, including mounting cameras and laying cables (Cat5e, Cat6, etc.)

  • Conduct network cabling work such as pulling, routing, terminating, and labeling of cables

  • Install and secure NVRs, network switches, routers, conduits, trunking, and related components

  • Perform crimping and cable testing to ensure functional connections

  • Route cables neatly using cable trays, casing, trunking, or conduit piping

  • Carry out site surveys to plan cable routing and device placements

  • Identify and troubleshoot basic hardware connectivity issues

  • Ensure tools, materials, and stock are prepared and loaded before heading to job sites

  • Follow safety procedures and ensure all work meets quality and industry standards

  • Keep daily job reports, site photos, and update supervisor on task completion

  • Assist with clean-up and inspection after installation work is completed
