Responsibilities:

  • To assist in obtaining accreditation and then ensure ongoing compliance by the company with the security regulatory requirements in respect of Bureau Processing as required by relevant organizations (i.e. Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, CUP, JCB)
  • Acting in accordance with the Corporate Security Management System and Corporate Security Policy to manage all aspects of personnel, physical, audit and IT Security at the local site;
  • Based on the corporate Security Policy to develop, publish implement and maintain local security procedures
  • To ensure the local site is developed from a security perspective to commence operations in accordance with the above objectives
  • To monitor all security activities and advise the management team on all matters concerning card premises security, as well as IT security
  • To Liaise with external customers and auditors for queries and audits
  • To monitor and track security KPIs (i.e. system vulnerabilities, system viruses, firewall rules, security patches etc.)
  • To manage a team of security guards and security control room
  • To direct and investigate all security matters where actions of staff or others could or have caused a breach of security and advise on procedures to be implemented to prevent re-occurrence
  • To answer to tender and contracts on security matters and clauses
  • To operate controls to detect any failures in the efficiency of solutions set up concerning/relevant to databases, systems and networks
  • To operate the security of the IT systems supporting the access control, alarm and video systems
  • To control the implementation of the IT security published by the corporate security, especially in production areas
  • To authorize local badge applications (allocation of rights and space, applications consistency,..) and support their development; and
  • To operate the staff signature certification in respect with the company registration authority policy.
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the security, process and IT systems.
  • Any other special projects as specified, as and when.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in security position (Logical & Physical), investigative experience and an ability to prepare and present written report and documents, or
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing IT systems and exposed to IT security policies and procedures.
  • A basic degree in Network, Security or Computer Science discipline.
  • Preferred security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA
  • IT and Network qualifications will be added advantage
  • IT security audit and GRC experience
  • Good personality and integrity
  • Good written and speaking English skills
