Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to safeguard plant facilities, employees and assets 100% onsite. You will implement security procedures, manage rosters, patrols, access control and incident reporting in line with ISO, C-TPAT and RBA guidelines.

The role requires experience in CCTV, IDS and VMS systems, plus a background in law enforcement or security services. Candidates should be able to communicate in basic English and work under the Security Manager,

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/MCE with security-related experience.
• Police/armed forces background considered.
• Experience with security systems (CCTV, IDS, VMS) preferred.
• Able to work with ISO, C-TPAT & RBA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant, property and people are secured and safe from threats.
• Mentor Security Assistants and manage deployment rosters.
• Enforce security procedures and company policies as directed by Security Manager.
• Monitor CCTV, access control and alarms to prevent unauthorized access and incidents.
