Job summary

A leading food and beverage company in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Executive who will lead a small team and manage all aspects of quality control within the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or Food Sciences and have over 7 years of relevant experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a multinational corporation.

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Executive to lead a small team of Quality Assurance Assistants to ensure microbiological/ chemical/ sensory analytical services or specific services in raw/-pack/finished goods for the factory.

A day in the life of...
  • Guides and supports the implementation of the Nestle Quality System in the plant in collaboration with the other departments.
  • Establishes and reviews all quality control checks in the conversion of raw materials to Finished Goods.
  • Implements and reviews all quality control checks for raw/ packing materials on arrival andto ensure that all checks are properly executed.
  • Designs the training material and conducts the training sessions for QAAs and the operators.
  • Controls analytical costs andseeks opportunities on cost savings without impacting quality of products.
  • Ensures correct functioning of the laboratory with proper and adequate equipment.
  • People management by coaches, trains, and motivatesteam to achieve KPI targets.
  • Continuously reviews the Quality system in collaboration with the other function andpromotes quality improvement culture in the plant.
What will make you successful

A minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both internally and externally, and escalate issues to the appropriate stakeholders or line manager when necessary.

Proven success in people management and team leadership.

Experience in food manufacturing; experience in a multinational corporation (MNC) is an added advantage.
