Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Provide strategic guidance and oversee the execution of tasks within the IT service delivery teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Cultivate a positive work culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
- Service Delivery Operations Assurance: Maintain the reliability and availability of IT services by managing daily operations, maintenance, and incident response related to Data Centre IT activities. Develop and enforce operational procedures that optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all IT services consistently meet or exceed customer expectations, including both on-site and remote support. Formulate and implement strategies to improve service delivery and satisfaction for end users and senior management.
- Issue Identification & Resolution: Detect recurring problems and trends and propose sustainable solutions to enhance the quality of IT operations.
- Culture & Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and ongoing improvement within the relevant teams.
- Business & Technical Alignment: Gain a comprehensive understanding of business operations and technical requirements involving internal and external stakeholders to guarantee consistency and effectiveness in IT operations and project execution.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT support roles, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management position.
- Proven technical management skills, with strong analytical abilities and familiarity across diverse computer hardware and software systems.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing diverse IT teams, fostering teamwork, and driving successful outcomes in dynamic environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and resourceful approach to complex IT challenges.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across various teams and departments.
- Calm and logical thinking under pressure, especially in challenging or crisis situations.
- Solid understanding of ITIL best practices, including incident, change, and problem management, service design, and continual service improvement.
- Experience with ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management System) standards is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft products and experience driving IT operations transformation initiatives.
