A leading company in the cement manufacturing sector seeks a Section Head Electrical for its Maintenance Department. The purpose of this role is to require thorough knowledge of electrical design, instrumentation, and control system design and engineering techniques. The candidate will be responsible for independently evaluating, selecting, applying, and adapting engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Responsibilities include project controls, cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and manpower requirements for proposals, forecasts, and change orders.
Design innovative solutions to problems and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs. Monitor work for compliance with applicable codes and accepted engineering practices.
Requires broad knowledge of precedents in the specialty area and a solid understanding of principles and practices of related technical fields.
Perform assignments independently with guidance from superiors or engineering specialists on complex problems. Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to less experienced engineers.
Assign and coordinate work to engineers. Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate engineering projects and programs.
Analyze reports, maps, drawings, tests, and other data to plan and design work. Review bid analysis and make recommendations.
Check and authorize orders and invoices, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and procedures.
Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, and Safety Management System according to international standards.
