As SEA Sales Assistant, you will support the SEA distribution manager in bringing Waters’ products and services to market. You will demonstrate a clear understanding of SEA distribution strategy and partner business, translating this knowledge into solutions and offerings to support customer success. This role offers a great degree of flexibility working with the SEA Distribution Manager.

The successful candidate will assist with sales support, marketing activities, and communication with customers to connect sales with service and application teams. A customer-oriented mindset is essential to meet customer expectations and service quality. The candidate will collaborate with Sales, Service, Application, and CSR teams.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist in reviewing records and information to evaluate work process effectiveness via CRM (Salesforce).
  2. Support the preparation of sales proposals.
  3. Handle all incoming sales calls and gather vendor/customer information.
  4. Assist in vendor creation in Ariba and external vendor setup, including filling forms and providing necessary documents such as company details, bank information, ISO, BizSAFE, etc.
  5. Maintain CRM data, including account/contact creation, opportunity management, quote generation, and updates.
  6. Follow up on backlogs to expedite deliveries and prevent past-due issues.
  7. Support the sales team in preparing price quotes, order confirmations, shipping, delivery, and AR tracking documents.
  8. Assist in executing local marketing events, seminars, webinars, and coordinate with the APAC marketing team.
  9. Participate in process improvement activities to streamline workflows.
  10. Provide pre- and post-sales support, including managing returns, replacements, and related activities across SEA countries (MY, SG, TH, VN, ID, PH).
  11. Support daily order operations to ensure business growth, including backup duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business Administration or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in polymer, material, or chemical-related industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Enthusiasm for change and challenging conventions.
