You'll be working for a reputable market-leader within the General Insurer who is looking for a Portfolio Management Senior Executive. The company highly supports career progression and offers an innovative work environment.

Your new role

• Assist and support the team in department planning and strategizing to improve company portfolio growth and profitability
• Assist the team to improve the portfolio mix that optimizes long-term performance and return
• Monitoring the movement of the product, prices and underwriting in the market to ensure our product, pricing & underwriting always suit the market needs
• Monitor market environment and operational changes and reflect such in profitability projections
• Maintain good quality data and insightful analysis for strategy making
• Support in timely delivery of data and reports to our internal and external customers
• Identify issues in the portfolio and respond with corrective actions
• Look for opportunities on Pricing, Underwriting or/and Product and cascade strategies for execution

What you'll need to succeed

• Preferably a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Actuarial, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Insurance or Risk Management etc.
• High level of competency in MS Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Having experience or knowledge of programming languages such as R, SAS, SQL, or Python is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Result-oriented and highly motivated to succeed in the insurance industry
• Good at learning new things and willing to think broadly and see the big picture
• Working in collaboration with other teams and being able to communicate effectively
