Job summary

A financial institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a candidate for a 6-month contract role in Credit Scoring. The position involves supporting the Credit Scoring team with manual scoring, User Acceptance Testing, and performance monitoring of scorecards. Candidates with a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree are preferred, and fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Basic skills in Microsoft Office and conversant English are required.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Credit Scoring team to perform manual scoring of applications when required.
  • Assist in conducting User Acceptance Testing for the deployment of scorecard changes when required.
  • Assist senior analysts and/or Team Lead, Credit Scoring in reviewing and monitoring the performance of retail and SME credit risk scorecards.
  • Assist in ad-hoc analysis or work related to credit risk scorecards and strategy.
Requirements
  • Skills: Ability to use basic Microsoft Office software, such as Word and Excel.
  • Ability to execute tasks such as manual scoring and system testing diligently, according to instructions, with minimal errors.
  • Conversant in English.
  • Knowledge: Candidates with a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree will be an added advantage.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
