Job Description

Experian is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and support high-performing Scrum teams while also handling light administrative tasks to ensure smooth project operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and many more).
  • You will guide teams in Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and partners to ensure clear understanding of goals, scope, and product domain.
  • Report on team metrics and progress using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
  • Support project documentation and perform light administrative duties, as needed.
  • Foster relationships across teams and departments to enhance collaboration and delivery.
  • Working flexibility, covering Australia time zone, working on roster and support during weekends or afterhours during deployments, if required.
  • Monthly reporting (Scrum Team metrics, DORA, Timesheets, etc) including financial reporting (administrative tasks PR/PO creating as well).
  • Prior experience with JIRA query handling and Microsoft BI reporting.

Qualifications

  • 8 year's experience, with +5 years of experience in leading Scrum Teams.
  • Experience working in a matrixed or enterprise-level global organization.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
  • SAFe certification and Kanban certification are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments, and leading Scrum of Scrum and PI plannings sessions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, risks, and deliverables.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
