The role also involves supporting other in-house creative projects — such as short videos, dramas, etc — as required. You may also be assigned ad hoc tasks by your supervisor from time to time. Job Description

Write original scripts for micro drama productions, focusing on strong storytelling, structure, and pacing suited for short-form content.

Support other in-house creative projects when required — including short films, digital dramas, web series, or other screen-based productions.

Collaborate with directors, producers, and team members to ensure scripts meet creative and production goals.

Adapt stories to suit various durations, formats, and platform needs.

Revise and improve scripts based on internal feedback.

Conduct research when necessary to ensure accuracy and authenticity in storylines and dialogue.

Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Job Requirements

Experience or demonstrated ability in writing for screen-based content, such as micro dramas, short videos, web series, digital dramas, films, etc.

Strong understanding of story structure, pacing, and natural dialogue — especially for short-form formats.

Proficient in either Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, or English (ability to write in more than one is a plus).

Open to feedback and flexible in revising work as needed.
