Location/Division Specific Information

We are recruiting for an exciting role for the commercial team based in Malaysia or Taiwan, with a focus on Environmental and Process Monitoring (EPM) Portfolio.

Job Title: Field Applications - Environmental and Process Monitoring (EPM)

The essential responsibility is to provide pre- and post-sales application support for the business. This includes developing and exploring new solutions for customers to generate demand and/or opportunities, as well as providing post-sales commissioning and training support for new and existing customers.

As a Field Applications professional, you will provide scientific expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of EPM products. You will demonstrate the feasibility of applications, provide consultation to prospective users, and ensure the product application/solution is functioning to specifications. You will work with the commercial team to gain commercial success and develop business strategies to drive market growth together with Channel Partners, enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Key Job Functions and Accountabilities:

  • Strong communicator who works with resources from Business Units and other regions globally to provide and deliver application solutions to customers.
  • New Product Introduction, application problem-solving, and effective user training to enable customers to appreciate and use EPM instruments with confidence and strong results.
  • Support commercial activities in assigned territories and accounts.
  • Run demo lab, setting up and daily operation including overall planning, technical specification, planning and ordering equipment, installation, and commissioning equipment.
  • Assist in lead generation by developing sales or marketing materials (sales presentations, application notes, and technical information for customers); joining seminars or workshops and participating in trade shows.
  • Provide and coordinate efficient support and training to channel partners in the country to develop their application proficiencies, thus increasing chances for business success and growth.
  • Run effective use of demo instruments available to help provide support to customers and commercial activities.
  • Collaborate and develop effective training programs to deploy technical advancements from the Business Unit for the regional market.
  • Work closely with Regional Commercial Leaders and Marketing teams in marketing/sales activities in the region.

Experience Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or other technical/science degree. Postgraduate qualification in a related field is an advantage.

  • 3-5 years of working experience in a similar field, especially in Gas Analyzers and Mass Spec instrumentation, with strong technical proficiency and good communication skills.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Semiconductor, Oil & Gas, and Petrochemical industries.
  • Knowledge and experience in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical documentation and application notes.

  • High energy, a team player, and capability of working under pressure.
  • Computer literate in MS Office, CRM, and SFDC.
  • High willingness to learn the EPM product portfolio.
