A leading international education organization in Malaysia is seeking a School Accountant to assist in managing financial operations. You will prepare accurate financial statements, manage day-to-day accounting operations, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in financial software like Netsuite and strong analytical skills are essential.
Purpose of the role
The School Accountant will support the Finance Manager in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate accounting practices. This role involves assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Accountant will work closely with the Finance team and Regional Finance team to ensure the smooth execution of financial processes and contribute to the organisation’s financial health.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or professional certification like ACCA/CPA or equivalent a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in finance/accounting.
