Job description

This is an entry-level Product Engineering position in the Secure Connected Edge Processing business line. It involves working on new production introduction of highly integrated, multi-core processors and controllers to meet quality, cost, and schedule needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams on SCE’s new product through the entire NPI development cycle (Concept, definition, execution, product launch/ramp).
  2. Translate product specifications and system requirements into test requirements and coverage methods (Trace Matrix).
  3. Support development of ATE test hardware requirements and review schematics and plots for probe card and device interface board.
  4. Drive cost reduction initiatives, including test time reduction and yield improvement.
  5. Perform yield enhancement by identifying fail modes, analyzing fallout rates, and related activities.
  6. Qualify new product introductions and investigate qual failures to determine root causes.
  7. Conduct characterization activities including defining matrix lots, generating CZ flow, collecting ATE CZ data, bench measurements, micro probing, thermal evaluation, data analysis, and reporting.
  8. Perform ATE data collection and failure analysis to determine failure mechanisms.
  9. Assist with customer quality incident investigations, including lab analysis and failure analysis support.
  10. Generate technical documentation such as statistical analysis reports, evaluation summaries, and lessons learned.
  11. Perform manual bench ESD and latch-up tests, identify failure causes, and propose solutions in collaboration with design engineers.
  12. Correlate critical ATE parametric measurements with lab measurements.
  13. Innovate to improve cycle time and cost efficiencies.
  14. Assist in transferring production test programs to manufacturing.
  15. Manage PE deliverables working with global cross-functional teams.

Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  2. Entry-level experience in Product and Test engineering.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Self-motivated with good planning, execution, and delivery skills.
  5. Solid knowledge of integrated circuits in CMOS, SOI, and FinFET technologies.
  6. Experience with test program debugging on ATE systems like Teradyne or Agilent 93K is advantageous.
  7. Basic statistics skills; JMP scripting is a plus.
  8. Good software skills (C, C++); Linux, Python, and Visual Basic are beneficial.
  9. Familiarity with BIST, SCAN, DFT, DFA schemes is a plus.
  10. Strong team player with leadership, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
