Job summary

Centific in Malaysia is seeking a Software Test Engineer (Testing with C#) with 3–5 years of hands‑on testing experience and SCCM knowledge. You will contribute to test strategy planning, validate configurations, and ensure reliability of key system components.

You will collaborate with engineering, architecture, and operations teams, perform manual testing, contribute to automation, and prepare quality metrics and risk inputs for project leads.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in software testing or QA engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to understand complex systems.
• Clear English communication and ability to produce test documentation.
• Ability to read, understand, and modify code or scripts in at least one language.
• Working knowledge of SCCM architecture, deployment operations, and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies for SCCM deployments and configurations.
• Validate triggers, stored procedures, data integrity, and architecture alignment.
• Review and interpret code or scripts and suggest quality improvements.
• Execute system‑level configuration and testing tasks for SCCM operations.
• Perform manual testing and contribute to automation to expand test coverage.
• Maintain test cases and automation scripts; analyze failures and implement fixes.
• Log detailed defect reports and support root‑cause analysis with teams.
• Prepare test summaries, quality metrics, and risk inputs for leads.
