A global energy company is looking for an experienced professional to manage material analysis and surplus strategies in Miri, Malaysia. The candidate will be involved in overseeing inventory management and collaborating with finance and external partners. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience are required. In this role, you will be responsible for executing material analysis and surplus management to ensure efficient and effective processes across Project, Production, and Wells. This includes managing the full lifecycle of material management—from early planning and gatekeeping to replenishment, optimization, and surplus avoidance strategies. You will also lead the execution of post-activity surplus strategies and decisions, continuing through to the remittance process with Petronas.
Success in this role requires strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to make data-driven decisions with significant financial implications, and a commitment to enhancing the resilience and cost-efficiency of the supply chain
