An established industry player seeks a dynamic SAP S/4HANA Functional Solution Architect to lead cross-module integrations and implementation projects. Involved in cross SAP / S4HANA modules integration such as Financial & Consolidation and Enterprise Asset Management.
Hands-on experience in full cycle of SAP / S4HANA implementation, roll-out projects, and support.
Able to implement on existing SAP / S4HANA platform for roll-out projects (standard & customization functionality and reports).
Able to understand and capture business process requirements; experience in gathering and documenting user requirements to produce Business Blueprint Process documentation.
Strong knowledge and experience in documentation of Functional Specification, Configuration Notes, SIT script, UAT script, training/user guide, support guide, and other project-related documentation.
Experience conducting workshops, UAT, and training sessions with business users.
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Extensive functional knowledge and ability to advise on the best SAP / S4HANA approach towards solutioning.
Support change management execution by developing training materials, delivering training, and supporting users post cutover.
Ensure all relevant compliance requirements are met.
Fulfill customer requirements with high customer satisfaction.
Develop and monitor system downtime and ensure Root Cause analysis is completed for serious production issues.
Ensure the project is delivered according to timeline.
Ensure project spending is within budget.
Address complexities of system interfacing.
Knowledge of programming skills is a prerequisite; ability to use one or more development languages.
Strong communication skills; ability to work in a team; ability to communicate and influence with tact and diplomacy.
Eye for detail and problem identification; strong process and analytical skills, able to identify solutions to complex problems.
Experience with the software development lifecycle; examples of requirements specifications will be requested.
Experience with common business and systems analysis methodologies and modeling tools.
Experience as a lead analyst or managing other analysts is desirable.
Strong business and customer focus.
Ability to work within a demanding environment, contributing to fast-moving product development processes.
Ability to work reactively and proactively.
Demonstrable numerical, analytical, and verbal skills; well-developed communication skills in English.
Experience in SAP / S4HANA and other financial platforms is an advantage.
Competency in Project Management (budget preparation, resource management, project planning, stakeholder updates).
Experience with cloud-based implementation & open-source tools, ETL tools, workflow applications, and cloud services (e.g., Oracle, SAP, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Knowledge of SOAP/Restful API development.
Knowledge of Python & RDBMS like MySQL, Postgres; Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL scripting experience is an advantage.
More than 5 years in IT-related roles.
Minimum 3 to 5 years in project management of customer-facing solutions; software implementation experience is a plus.
A university degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Management, or related financial subjects.
Formal project management training or certification (PMP, Agile, etc.) is a plus.
Experience in professional services, retail, or telecommunications environments.
IT or Computer Science background.
Experience as a project consultant, implementer, or system integrator.
Able to travel as required.
Knowledge of ERP Finance Systems; Oracle Fusion, SAP / S4HANA.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Dynamic, team player, able to manage stakeholders and teams.
Flexible with working odd hours to resolve customer issues.
