Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Finance - Lead Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Must Have Skills:
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting (FI)
• Deep understanding of Malaysia local tax which includes specific configurations for compliance with Malaysian tax regulations, primarily SST (Sales and Service Tax), withholding tax and compliance with local reporting.
• Most recent experience in S/4 HANA Implementation / System Conversion / Landscape Transformation using AGILE/ SAP ACTIVATE methodology in Finance
• Demonstrated experience of successfully leading client workshops for Financial Accounting track during explore / build phase.
• Experience in building global template for finance.
• Proficiency in business process knowledge and configuration in S/4HANA for majority of the finance related processes –
o General Ledger Accounting
o Receivables & Payables
o Asset accounting
o Electronic Bank Statements
o Tax Accounting
o Intercompany matching and reconciliation
• Deep understanding of integration across financial and logistics processes, SAP and non-SAP applications
• Minimum two full lifecycle implementations / roll outs.
• Bachelor / master's degree in finance related discipline is required with minimum 10 years of FICO experience
Nice to Have Skills:
• Understanding on SAP Best Practices and knowledge in multiple modules, their integrations & technology
• Certified in SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Experience in execution of at least one of the projects related to Group Reporting, Revenue Accounting & Reporting, Central Finance, Closing Cockpit is preferred
• Ability to manage and deliver multiple priorities in a constrained timeline
• Leadership skills with ability to influence and negotiate internal and external stakeholders
• Should be proficient in conversation on wide ranging topics relating to Financial Accounting & Controlling with business users, business leads, IT leads
• Work effectively in multiple time zones with global teams
• Knowledge of new features in SAP S/4HANA – embedded analytics, user experience using Fiori, S/4HANA conversion and pre-requisites, S/4HANA simplification and business impact, SAP cloud platform
Responsibilities:
• Lead the functional team & leverage experiential knowledge.
• Lead discovery workshops with customer to understand business requirements and collect relevant information needed to build customer specific solution for finance
• Provide leadership in planning/sequencing of customer workshops, conduct workshops and support facilitation of same
• Design of CoA changes, Global template, ICMR, EBS, Fixed Assets, Integration components in SAP.
• Adapt pre-configured solution based on industry standards and conduct show & tell workshops with customers
• Configure and test SAP S/4HANA
• Document functional specification, training content, design, configuration, and other project related documents
• Execute cutover, migration, testing, training related activities
• Engage with business users during requirement analysis, fit-gap analysis, and solution design.
• Co-ordinate with business users and product owners during solution acceptance with focus on finance processes and integration of same with manufacturing, procurement, sales, supply chain
• Functional testing responsibility.
• Drive functional strategy – Data migration strategy, test strategy, project planning
• QA for blueprints, functional specs, SIT test results
