SAP Reporting & Analytics Senior Consultant

Location: UAE (relocation available for the right candidates)

Job Summary:

We are undergoing a major transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, and we are looking for a Senior SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP Reporting & Analytics Senior Consultant to lead the implementation of advanced reporting and analytics solutions across SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This Technical Consultant role will focus on implementing and optimizing SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, and embedded analytics within SAP S/4HANA to empower decision-making and provide business insights.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reporting and analytics tools within the SAP ecosystem, including hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Datasphere. Responsibilities include data integration for reporting, delivering real-time insights, and optimizing analytics processes across the business.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. SAP Reporting & Analytics Architecture:
   • Design and implement end-to-end SAP reporting and analytics solutions, focusing on SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Datasphere.
   • Architect reporting solutions that deliver real-time insights, integrating data from SAP S/4HANA and other systems.
   • Define data flow and data modelling strategies for business intelligence, ensuring high data accuracy and availability.
   • Design and implement data structures within SAP S/4HANA and SAP Datasphere to support reporting and analytics.
2. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):
   • Implement SAC for reporting, planning, and predictive analytics.
   • Design and deploy SAC dashboards and reports for real-time, actionable insights.
   • Integrate SAP S/4HANA, third-party applications, and cloud data sources with SAC.
   • Utilize SAC features like data visualizations, storytelling, and planning capabilities.
   • Manage user access, security, and governance for SAC reports and dashboards.
3. SAP Datasphere Integration:
   • Integrate SAP Datasphere with SAP S/4HANA for unified data storage, modelling, and access.
   • Manage SAP Datasphere for data warehousing and ensure effective data extraction and transformation.
   • Develop strategies for data harmonization across SAP and non-SAP systems.
   • Ensure seamless data integration for centralized reporting and analytics.
4. Embedded Analytics in SAP S/4HANA:
   • Leverage SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics for real-time insights.
   • Configure CDS views and analytical queries within SAP S/4HANA.
   • Create tailored analytical reports with business users.
   • Optimize performance of embedded analytics.
5. Data Integration and Data Models:
   • Oversee data integration from SAP S/4HANA to other SAP BTP services and third-party systems.
   • Develop data models and ensure efficient data extraction.
   • Implement best practices for data transformation and modelling.
6. Reporting Solutions and Dashboards:
   • Design, develop, and deploy business reports and dashboards.
   • Work with stakeholders to define requirements.
   • Monitor and troubleshoot reporting systems.
7. Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics Strategy:
   • Define BI and analytics strategy aligned with business goals.
   • Ensure scalable and adaptable reporting solutions.
   • Establish data governance policies.
8. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
   • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
   • Serve as a key contact for analytics needs.
   • Manage communication with vendors and stakeholders.
9. Continuous Improvement and Optimization:
   • Monitor and optimize reporting solutions.
   • Stay updated with SAP analytics offerings.
   • Address bottlenecks and performance issues proactively.
10. Training and Knowledge Sharing:
    • Provide training on SAP Analytics Cloud, embedded analytics, and Datasphere.
    • Share best practices and develop documentation.

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Certifications:

• Professional Experience:
  • 8-10 years in SAP reporting and analytics, with 5+ years in SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
  • Experience implementing SAC and integrating with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Expertise in data warehousing, data modelling, and SAP Datasphere.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics.
• Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • SAP certifications in SAP S/4HANA, SAC, Datasphere, or similar are highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong experience with SAC, Datasphere, CDS views, and SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics.
  • Knowledge of data modelling, ETL, and data integration best practices.
  • Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects, Lumira, or other BI tools is a plus.
• Process & Methodologies:
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of data governance, quality, security, and privacy.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in aviation, travel, or related industries.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI integration with SAP Analytics Cloud.
