Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced SAP Finance/Controlling expert with strong SAP ECC/S4HANA skills and a proven track record of end-to-end implementations. The role requires coordinating across SAP modules (MM, SD, PP), managing data conversion, and leading testing phases in a globally distributed team.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of SAP experience, strong English communication, and familiarity with ITIL, Agile, DevOps, and Lean Six Sigma processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of SAP ECC and S/4HANA experience with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations
• Expertise in SAP ECC or S/4HANA Finance & Controlling with focus on Finance
• Experience/integration knowledge with MM, SD, and PP modules; general ABAP familiarity
• Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, implementation, testing (FUT/SIT/UAT/RT), data conversion, and support
• Strong engagement and communication skills; able to collaborate with global teams
• Able to work effectively in a virtual, multi-timezone environment; proficient in English (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, DevOps, Lean Six Sigma; certifications beneficial
• Solid understanding of SOX and its applicability within IT

Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert for SAP Finance, including GL, asset accounting, closing cockpit (FCLOCO), and inter-company recharges
• Drive change lifecycle activities: requirements gathering, fit-gap, impact assessment, governance approvals, transition, and post-implementation support
• Provide input and recommend robust solutions to meet business requirements
• Evaluate and approve estimates from third-party service providers
• Ensure changes align with organizational change processes and governance
• Own IT automated controls and ensure quality assurance aligning with audits and SOX controls
• Support organizational change, release and deployment management, test management, service transition, and operations
• Contribute to CSIP initiatives to improve quality, standards, and lean practices

• Subject matter expert within the SAP Finance, R2R-TF area covering journal entry (GL), asset accounting, closing cockpit (FCLOCO), and inter-company recharges




• Key focus within the change lifecycle of implementation of changes including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, impact assessment, addressing the appropriate governance body for approvals, transition and supporting the change post implementation




• Provide input and recommend robust solutions to meet business requirements




• Responsible for evaluation and approval of the Estimates provided by the 3rd party Service provider




• Accountable in ensuring changes meet the organizational change processes/governance/criteria




• Owner of IT automated controls and responsible for quality assurance aligning with audits and SOX controls




• Supporting organizational change, release and deployment management, test management, service transition and service operations




• Support and chip in to CSIP growing quality/standards and driving towards lean organization
