Job summary

VISEO ASIA is seeking an experienced SAP FICO data migration specialist in Malaysia to focus on O2C and AR processes and related data migration. You will collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure accurate mapping and clean migrations within SAP S/4HANA/ECC ecosystems.

Responsibilities include end-to-end data extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, validation, testing, cutover activities, and post-migration reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of SAP FICO experience with AR and O2C focus.
• Hands-on data migration across end-to-end cycles and validation.
• Experience with SAP migration tools (Migration Cockpit, LSMW) is preferred.
• Excellent communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Involved in SAP FICO projects with a primary focus on Order-to-Cash (O2C), Accounts Receivable (AR), and data migration activities.
• Analyse current O2C and AR business processes, legacy data, and migration requirements and identify gaps against the SAP global template.
• Participate in end-to-end data migration activities, including data extraction, cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation, loading, and reconciliation.
• Work with business and technical teams to define data mapping and transformation rules between legacy systems and SAP.
• Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) activities to support the migration of finance and AR-related data into SAP.
• Support migration of key AR data objects such as customer master data, open receivables, customer balances, and related financial data.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of migrated data.
• Support data migration cycles, mock loads, testing, defect resolution, cutover activities, and post-migration validation.
• Work closely with SAP functional, technical, data migration, and business teams to resolve migration-related issues.
• Support integration between SAP FICO and other relevant SAP modules, particularly Sales & Distribution (SD) within the O2C process.
• Test and troubleshoot functional and data-related issues during migration and implementation.
• Communicate effectively with local and global teams, business users, and IT stakeholders.

Profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SAP FICO, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and O2C processes.
• Hands-on experience in at least one end-to-end SAP data migration project is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes, including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, mapping, validation, and loading.
• Good understanding of SAP FICO AR processes, including customer accounts, invoices, incoming payments, clearing, credit/debit memos, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Experience with migrating AR and finance-related data objects, such as customer master data, open items, balances, and transactional data.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience is mandatory; SAP ECC experience is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of integration between SAP FICO and SD, particularly within the O2C process.
• Experience with data migration tools or methodologies such as SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, BAPI, IDoc, or other ETL/data migration tools is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of data quality, validation, reconciliation, and migration controls.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and stakeholders.
• Independent, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under project timelines and pressure.
