Job Description
In your new role you will:

  • Work at the intersection between development and operations within our globally operating Enterprise Integration Services team.
  • Deliver 2nd-level support for a diverse SAP integration application portfolio, including SAP Cloud Integration (CI), Edge Integration Cell, SAP Process Integration (PI), and SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT).
  • Manage incident and service-order tickets effectively: Receive, assess, prioritize, resolve, and monitor requests from internal customers, ensuring timely responses in line with established SLAs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot critical system issues by analyzing root causes, investigating problems, and offering actionable solutions or workarounds to users.
  • Proactively monitor system operations to assess health, performance, and availability. Execute regular system checks to ensure seamless functioning of integration scenarios.
  • Lead problem management activities by identifying root causes, defining corrective and preventive measures, and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders throughout the process.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system operations, known issues, workarounds, and resolution paths to ensure knowledge continuity and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement small- to medium-scale change requests, ensuring seamless adjustments to integration scenarios.
  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Provide support during non-office hours on a rotating shift or on-call standby basis, ensuring uninterrupted system availability for global operations.
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary, globally distributed team of experts, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across regions and time zones.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience in system support or end-user support. Fresh graduates with relevant experience will be considered.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, capable of driving topics to completion independently while maintaining effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as ASP, XML, ABAP, JAVA, XSLT
  • Experience in working with native cloud applications and container platforms like Kubernetes, Docker or Redhat Openshift.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and are able to critically engage with new issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in English (both written and verbal), enabling you to collaborate across global teams.
  • Knowledgeable in Enterprise Application Integration methodologies/processes is a plus
  • Experienced in SAP CI, SAP PI, SAP SLT, or SAP Integration Suite will be an added advantage
  • Strong programming skills in Java and the ability to apply them in developing or troubleshooting integration scenarios.

Note: 1-year renewable contract under 3rd party payroll partner and entitled to benefits according to the partner company.
