Job description

FPG Oleochemicals Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented SAP Helpdesk Support professional to join our team on a contract basis. This is a temporary role located in Kuantan, Pahang. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level assistance and troubleshooting for our users on our SAP enterprise software system.

Overview

What you’ll be doing and what we expect from you as part of the SAP Helpdesk Support role.

What you'll be doing
  • Provide 1st-level SAP helpdesk support to end users on all reported cases in the organization.
  • Ensure reported cases are analyzed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Escalate unresolved cases to the appointed 3rd-party SAP Application Management Support (AMS) service provider through the AMS ticketing system.
  • Effectively liaise, coordinate, and communicate with the appointed 3rd party SAP AMS service provider to deliver fast resolutions and meet the service level agreement (SLA).
  • Ensure end users participate in business acceptance testing and/or provide feedback on reported cases in a timely manner to meet SLA.
  • Manage SAP user identities and access management within the organization.
  • Liaise and coordinate with the appointed 3rd-party SAP audit service provider to deliver segregation of duties (SoD) compliance reporting in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all SAP system documentation (e.g., functional specifications, end-user training guides) is up to date and stored in the appropriate SAP repository.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and practices on SAP to meet business standards and governance for stewardship.
What we're looking for
  • Minimum diploma in information technology/MIS or a computer-related field with two years or more of related experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a SAP Helpdesk or IT support role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the SAP ERP system, including modules such as Finance, Materials Management, and Production Planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Good customer service orientation and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
  • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) best practices and ticketing systems.
  • Relevant IT or SAP certifications are highly desirable.
