Job summary

Wilmar International is seeking an SAP FICO consultant in Malaysia's Selangor region to provide ongoing functional and technical SAP support, with focus on GL, AP, AR, FA, and CO-PA. You will work on SAP RICEF items and help users with daily transactions and reports.

You will analyze business processes, gather requirements, perform UAT, and deploy to production, while coordinating with stakeholders for system improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Accounting or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in SAP FICO covering GL, AP, AR, FA, CCA, PCA, CO-PA, and PC.
• Understanding FI integration with MM, SD, PP and HR.
• Strong accounting domain knowledge.
• SAP certification is a plus.
• ITIL knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing SAP FICO support (functional and technical).
• Analyze systems and implement improvements.
• Handle SAP RICEF objects and user queries on transactions, reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Manage change requests with stakeholders for improvements.
• Ensure configurations, developments, and access comply with IT policies and audits.
• Perform requirement gathering, UAT, and production deployment.
• Design and develop data integration solutions across regions.
• Prepare training guides and deliver SAP end-user training.

Job description

• Provide on-going SAP application technical and functional support primarily in areas of FICO
• Perform detail system analysis and provides solutions for system improvements.
• Work with all aspects of SAP RICEF items and help with queries from users relating to daily operational transactions, reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Manage system change requests and engage with key business stakeholders for system improvement initiatives
• Ensure all configurations, developments and user access are audit and security complaint in accordance to IT policies and guidelines.
• Analyse business information and work independently from requirement gathering workshops to UAT and deployment to production.
• Design and develop integration solutions for data exchanges with other IT applications across various regions.
• Prepare training guides and conduct SAP training to end-users

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Accounting or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of experience in area of SAP FICO supporting General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Asset Accounting (FA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Controlling Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Product Costing (PC)
• Understanding and Experience of Product Costing is a plus
• Understand key FI integration with other SAP modules with primary focus on MM, SD, PP and HR
• Good understanding of accounting business practice and processes
• Fluent in English language (both written and verbal)
• Experience in planning, design, development, testing and release of complex custom objects
• Ability to work well in a multi-cultural team
• Strong ability to understand complex system landscape configuration considering the E2E view
• ITIL knowledge and experience
• SAP certification will be an added advantage’
