SAP FICO Functional Consultant

Extensive experience in SAP implementation projects with a focus on FI-CO processes functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and streamlined processes. Strong knowledge of SAP Financial modules, including General Ledger, Asset Accounting, and Financial Consolidation. SAP Functional Lead with experience across industries & sectors like Manufacturing, Consumer Products & Retail, Services, Telecom, etc. Will be responsible for leveraging SAP solutions to optimize and streamline the Record-to-Report cycle, ensuring seamless integration with various business functions and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities

  • Duration: 12 months
  • End client: Automobile Industry (This is mandatory)
  • Looking at candidates with short notice period or immediately available

Job Scope:

  • Analyse, design, and implement SAP solutions to optimize and streamline the business processes. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in finance functions.
  • Assist with requirements gathering, the design and implementation of financial reporting structures in SAP to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and drive the development of meaningful financial reports
  • Drive process harmonization and standardization across regions for Global Template design and roll-out.
  • Configure SAP Financial modules to align with organizational requirements, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
  • Adopt clean core approach leveraging SAP BTP and non-SAP applications
  • Lead customization efforts to address unique business requirements and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Logistics, and IT to understand business requirements and ensure SAP solutions align with organizational goals
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements
  • Also, worked with integrations across systems for Planning, Reporting, and other business systems
  • Training and Documentation:
    o Develop and deliver training programs for users to ensure proper utilization and understanding of SAP Record to Report functionalities
    o Create comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes
  • Stay informed about SAP best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies to recommend and implement continuous improvements
  • Proactively identify areas for enhancement in the Record-to-Report cycle and propose innovative solutions.

    Requirements
  • 5-8+ years extensive experience in SAP FICO implementation and consulting experience
  • Proven experience on stakeholder management working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership attribute with excellent interpersonal skills, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent project and risk management and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of the ASAP Methodology and worked on project
  • Implementation experience with ASAP methodology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and able to work independently to resolve issues
  • Strong sense of ownership and would respect and commit to deadlines
  • Team player with capability of handling multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Prior experience in the automotive industry a plus
