Job Description
- Identify and analyze future needs, legal requirements, and design organizational structures, processes, and SAP solutions to develop a Tax Core Model that complies with legal and business needs.
- Manage major evolution requests by creating and presenting Gap Sheets to the Arbitration Committee.
- Contribute to process design, organize data, and analyze alternative solutions based on new tax regulations and system optimization.
- Collaborate with other domains and BPOs to design integrated tax flows.
- Create and document detailed end-to-end tax processes.
- Define procedures for periodic integrity verification of tax processes linked with SD/MM processes.
- Perform tax tests to validate system functionality during new processes, upgrades, and rollouts.
- Conduct Gap Analysis Workshops to identify local tax or business gaps and design compliant solutions with the Core Team.
- Promote the Tax Organizational Core Model by analyzing organizational impacts and helping local management develop mitigation action plans.
- Define organizational restrictions for functional business roles and maintain the user role matrix in line with internal controls.
- Develop training plans and train key users on new declarations and VAT algorithms.
- Develop test plans, execute cycle tests, assist in UAT, analyze defects, and adapt the Cutover Plan for data migration.
- Create and maintain tax process documentation and global organizational master data, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Support the rollout of e-learning programs, organize training sessions, and onboard new users.
- Manage system enhancements by following up on progress, testing, and releasing updates, and gathering feedback from tax managers.
- Identify system misuse issues, define action plans, and improve data accuracy and deadlines.
- Design organizational restrictions, manage access requests, and organize periodic role and authorization reviews.
The Successful Applicant
A business degree with 5-10 years of experience in finance, with a strong interest in IT systems, solid knowledge of taxes, finance, and SAP. ERP familiarity is a plus. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, coaching abilities, leadership qualities, and experience in change management. Ability to adapt to changing business rules, tax regulations, and organizational needs is essential. Skilled in managing diverse user groups, entities, and processes, with the ability to prioritize and reconcile requirements.
