Job summary

Conext Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking experienced SAP Consultants to join our Digital Manufacturing team supporting Critical Manufacturing MES (CM MES) projects in a manufacturing environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to expand SAP manufacturing knowledge into Digital Manufacturing and MES.

You will gather requirements, translate them into SAP and MES solutions, configure and test modules, support end-to-end MES lifecycles, and contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAP consulting, implementation, rollout, enhancement, or application support experience.
• Hands-on experience in one or more of the following SAP areas: PP, QM, PM, MM, MII, ME, MES or other MES.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes and shop-floor operations.
• Experience participating in at least one end-to-end implementation project lifecycle.
• Knowledge of requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and support.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to gather, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate requirements into SAP, Digital Manufacturing, and MES solutions including design, configuration, and specifications.
• Support CM MES implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Lead end-to-end MES project lifecycle including design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, user guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Configure, implement, administer, and optimize Digital Manufacturing and MES solutions.
• Coordinate cross-module dependencies and integrations with external systems.
• Support data migration, master data quality, controls, and governance as relevant.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver sustainable resolutions.

We are seeking experienced SAP Consultants to join our growing Digital Manufacturing team supporting Critical Manufacturing MES (CM MES) implementation projects within a leading manufacturing environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for SAP consultants to expand their expertise into Digital Manufacturing and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) while leveraging their existing SAP manufacturing knowledge.

Key responsibilities

Engage business stakeholders to gather, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements.

Translate business requirements into SAP, Digital Manufacturing, and MES solutions, including solution design, configuration, technical specifications, and implementation deliverables.

Support Critical Manufacturing MES implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and support activities.

Support the end-to-end MES project lifecycle, including design, build, testing, deployment, hypercare, and ongoing support.

Prepare or contribute to functional specifications, technical specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, user guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Configure, implement, administer, and optimize Digital Manufacturing, MES, and manufacturing solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes and operational objectives.

Coordinate cross-module dependencies and integration with external systems, working closely with technical and functional teams.

Support data migration, master data quality, controls, and governance activities where relevant to the assigned module.

Investigate incidents and defects, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver timely, sustainable resolutions.

Communicate delivery status, risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies clearly to project stakeholders.

About you

Minimum 5 years of relevant SAP consulting, implementation, rollout, enhancement, or application support experience.

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP QM (Quality Management), SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP MII, SAP ME, SAP MES, or Other Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes and shop-floor operations.

Experience participating in at least one end-to-end implementation project lifecycle.

Practical understanding of requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and support.

Knowledge of system integration concepts and manufacturing data flows.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline.

Direct Critical Manufacturing MES experience is advantageous but not mandatory. We highly encourage SAP consultants with PP, QM, PM, MM, MII, ME, or MES backgrounds to apply. Training and project exposure on Critical Manufacturing MES will be provided for suitable candidates.
