Job description

The Role: SAP Associate Solution Architect (FICO)

The SAP Associate Solution Architect will be responsible for analyzing and translating business information and technical requirements into an architectural solution blueprint that supports Entegris' business objectives. This role involves solution architecture, design, and delivery of SAP solutions, including middleware and underlying platforms. The position requires close collaboration with Business COE teams, internal customers, SAP application teams, the Enterprise Architecture team, and the PMO office, with a focus on global finance processes within a multinational manufacturing company.

What You’ll Do:

1. Contribute to strategy and Business Capability roadmaps within the SAP landscape to drive business process transformation and innovation.
2. Provide guidance, including change review, prioritization, and mentoring SAP Business Analysts across multiple teams.
3. Assist in architecting end-to-end SAP solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring design integrity through to implementation.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to review current processes, identify gaps, and define new requirements.
5. Become the subject matter expert for all finance-related processes.
6. Propose process enhancements, advise on system options, risks, costs, benefits, and impacts, and facilitate adoption of new processes.
7. Work on projects and enhancements aligned with business objectives.
8. Review business and technical requirements, support development and testing, evangelize best practices, and escalate architecture issues.
9. Prepare presentations, documents, diagrams, models, and artifacts to communicate analyses and designs.
10. Provide implementation options using SAP capabilities, including gap remediation and workarounds.
11. Understand implications of updates from other initiatives or technology transformations.
12. Support external vendor assessments to ensure adherence to standards.
13. Assist Business Analysts in resolving complex enhancement requests within the change management process.
14. Support SAP BPC and BW requirements.
15. Provide technical insights for work prioritization and establish priorities with key stakeholders.
16. Support the SPR process to align project scope and benefits with business cases and system requirements.

What We Seek:

1. Minimum 3+ years in a senior SAP/ERP role, specializing in manufacturing industries.
2. Experience in SAP implementations, focusing on functional solution design and delivery across the SAP lifecycle.
3. Deep knowledge in SAP modules such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Corporate Finance, Manufacturing Costing, Tax, Transfer Pricing, Banking Interfaces, and Treasury.
4. Experience with SAP BW and SAP BPC, and knowledge of financial consolidations and FP&A functions in a global context.
5. Strong problem-solving, influencing, and negotiation skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills.
