Job summary

AIG Shared Services (M) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Analyst - Sanctions Processing to support the GI Sanctions Processing team. The role involves investigating data in sanctions screening applications, screening for potential matches, adjudicating alerts, and documenting rationale for decisions.

The position is hybrid with four days in the office, requires advanced Excel and MS Office skills, strong analytical abilities, and English proficiency to meet SLA targets under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be analytical and meticulous.
• Proficient in English – reading, writing and speaking.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Strong MS Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanctions and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) screening of potential match review.
• Adjudicating potential matches.
• Documenting the rationale for the potential match resolution.
• Reason codes pertaining to the potential match.
• Alert leads to system anomalies, deficiencies and/or backlogs.
• Coordinate requests for exemptions from screening requirements.
• Participate in periodic training sessions.
• Meet QA requirements and SLAs to support the business.
