The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced SAN Storage Administrator to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for SAN storage systems.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience with SAN storage technologies relevant to our current projects.
  • The role involves managing storage infrastructure, handling BAU activities, troubleshooting, replication, and zoning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1-8 years of experience in storage technologies (Block/File/Object) and SAN switch administration.
  • Willingness to work in 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis.
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for SAN, NAS, and storage systems, including incident, change, and problem management aligned with ITSM frameworks.
  • Manage disaster recovery, backup, and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity and storage optimization.
  • Collaborate with Hitachi Service Delivery Managers, Account Teams, and customers to deliver and implement storage solutions.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and provide technical escalation support for L1/L2 teams.
  • Conduct capacity and performance analysis proactively to address bottlenecks and potential issues.
  • Administer Hitachi Storage systems (VSP, HNAS, HCP) or equivalent systems (Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE).
  • Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and customer-centric skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification.
