As a Sales Support Engineer (Proposal) at KROHNE (M) Sdn Bhd, you will play a vital role in the company's sales efforts. Working in a full-time capacity from our Petaling Jaya, Selangor office, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and proposal support to the sales team, ensuring the successful delivery of solutions to our valued customers.
What you'll be doing
To compile complete technical and commercial offers (& cost calculations) in liaison with clients and/or KROHNE companies
To have the knowledge and experience to provide technical application, system and product support worldwide to fulfil a helpdesk function
Adhere to procedures to ensure department personnel can execute their duties effectively, in good quality and according instructions in place.
Pro-actively and team player attitude to support and to communicate with KOG colleagues, Clients and KROHNE in all sales activities
To participate in sales negotiations, bid clarification meetings, workshop and exhibitions
To have the commercial expertise to complete commercial offers in conjunction with Sales Managers and KROHNE companies
To manage the contract transfer and hand-over to operations department
To attend and provide support in technical clarification and kick-off meetings
Proactive follow ups on the sent quotations
To work within and specifically to meet the timescale requirements of clients
To report or recommend changes to procedures or working practices where improvement opportunities are recognized
To assist Sales Support Engineer in Technical and Commercial proposal.
To assist Sales Support Manager on reviewing the proposal.
Able to understand and work using ERP and CRM system.
To assist Sales Support Manager in monitoring incoming order, preparation on product order entry, order acknowledgement and invoicing whenever necessary.
To assist at all times the company achieve its dedicated aim of “Best Practice”
To ensure all work and tasks are carried out in accordance with the Companies ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 QHSE Procedures.
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a sales support or technical sales role, preferably within the industrial automation or instrumentation industry
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex engineering concepts and products
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Familiarity with proposal development and project management processes
A team player with a proactive and customer-centric approach
