Responsibilities
- Equipment Selection and Costing Compilation for Applied & Unitary
- Equipment Selection: Choose suitable equipment based on project needs and specifications.
- Costing Compilation: Collect cost details, including quotes, taxes, shipping, and installation, and prepare cost reports.
- Following Up on Technical Queries with Manufacturer & Vendor
- Technical Queries: Resolve technical questions about equipment specs, performance, and installation by communicating with manufacturers and vendors.
- Follow-Up: Ensure timely responses and keep records of all communications.
- Order Management
- COAP Compilation: Prepare Customer Order Acknowledgment Process documents with order details.
- Enter Order to Factory: Submit and record orders for production.
- Change Order: Manage and communicate any order changes.
- Production Lead Time Follow-Up: Monitor production timelines and address delays.
- Logistics Coordination: Arrange and track shipping and delivery of equipment.
- GDI Arrangement: Ensure clear instructions for goods delivery.
- Document Management for Costing, Delivery Order (DO), Billing, and Payment
- Costing Documentation: Keep accurate records of costs, quotes, and invoices.
- Delivery Order (DO): Prepare and manage delivery orders.
- Billing: Handle invoicing, payment tracking, and resolve discrepancies.
- Payment: Ensure timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in technical field (i.e. Engineering, HVAC, or related field).
- Experience: Prior experience in order management, technical support, sales engineering role is an advantage, especially in the HVAC or industrial equipment industry.
- Skills:
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP or order management systems is a plus.
