Job summary

Selat Group in Malaysia is seeking a proactive sales associate to source new customers, promote loan packages, and assist with loan applications and document submission. You will build customer relationships and handle account inquiries with professionalism.

The role requires good communication skills, a sales-driven mindset, and the ability to work independently or in a team within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Source and acquire new customers through digital platforms, referrals, and other sales channels.
• Promote and recommend suitable loan packages, including tele-sales for new and existing customers.
• Assist customers with loan applications, agreement signing, and submission of required documents.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and timely communication.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide support on account-related matters.
• Perform data entry, documentation, and system updates accurately.
• Monitor customers’ repayment status and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Assist in basic credit assessment, verification of customer information, and reporting to superior.
• Ensure proper filing, record-keeping, and adherence to company procedures.
• Support branch operations, including general housekeeping and administrative tasks.
• Carry out ad hoc duties as assigned by superior.
