Job Description

This is a 2-year contract role based in Sandakan, Sabah.

We are looking for Sales Supervisors who are driven and competitive to join our dynamic sales team to support the business in driving revenue and growth of CelcomDigi products.

Responsibilities
  • People Manager of Sales Executives under own allocated Area. Coach, mentor, grow and engage Sales Executives to maximize their performance and potential.
  • Plan & execute overall Open Channel expansion, based on existing Prepaid & Postpaid consumer density and new market opportunities.
  • Explore greenfield areas within a Cluster for further expansion.
  • Cluster Owner for all Telco Prepaid & Postpaid related businesses under Open Channel & Modern Trade categories.
  • Plan, develop and execute quarterly tactical sales programs to achieve set Prepaid & Postpaid targets.
  • Perform basic performance analysis to translate insights into action items.
  • Monitor dealer performance by Clusters to ensure alignment with CelcomDigi’s current product promos and channel programs.
  • Observe and report competitor activities and programs; review their effectiveness, threats, and opportunities; propose quick-win actions to stay competitive.
  • Ensure Cluster health following Sales & Distribution guidelines.
  • Achieve sales targets for reloads and activations to increase revenue.
  • Maintain CelcomDigi’s visibility within Clusters.
  • Execute daily dealer visitations within allocated Clusters.
  • Troubleshoot dealer and frontliner system/product queries.
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in any field with at least 3 years of team management experience.
  • Experience in sales, especially with Dealer/Distribution/Telco Operations, FMCG, Public Relations & Communications.
  • Own transport with valid licenses.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English & Malay; other languages are a plus.
  • Flexible to work during weekends or odd hours.
  • Good communication skills, aggressive, dynamic, result-oriented.
  • Street-wise and able to think on your feet.
  • Experience in planning and executing sales campaigns is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Set and achieve daily sales targets for Sales Executives.
