Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for selling products, systems, and services within a designated market or division, aligned with the division strategy. Your daily tasks include achieving sales targets to ensure growth in orders, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will identify and develop new sales opportunities. The work model is hybrid, contributing to Electrification Smart Buildings in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Your main responsibilities include:
- Communicating delivery times, payments, and terms to customers in line with ABB’s offerings and strategy.
- Supporting marketing activities and communicating value propositions to customers.
- Identifying and developing new market opportunities.
- Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management when needed.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience (2+ years) in electrical contracting or panel building, with direct and indirect sales or marketing experience.
- Ability to read Single Line Diagrams is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
