Job Summary

Working closely with Abrasive Systems Division Sales Leader to achieve sales objectives for Singapore and Malaysia by providing independent sales coverage of assigned accounts or within assigned territory.

This position is intended for individuals with sales experience and have demonstrated ability to apply value selling skills. The individual is expected to manage his/her assigned sales territory with regular supervision.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for managing, developing, and executing plans to achieve sales targets set up by assigned territories, market segments and accounts. Leveraging 3M’s CRM software to track and report all sales activities. Be equipped with knowledge on product portfolio that you are responsible for and provide successful product demonstrations. Building relationships with key personnel in end user market assigned. Proactively sought for new opportunities to develop a strong sales pipeline. Prioritize and execute business objectives successfully and timely.

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Sales or Technical Sales, with a proven success track record.
  • Must have experience in the manufacturing industry for industrial abrasives.
  • Able to work independently on assignments.
  • Able to handle pressure and conflicts.
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to work under pressure and within short timelines.
  • Skilled with MS Office Applications.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and/or Malay, both oral and written.
  • Required to travel regularly between Singapore and Malaysia.
