Job description

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Promote and sell the organisation’s products within an assigned geographic area to existing and new customers to achieve sales targets and market growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Drive selling results in assigned territories and/or accounts.
  2. Identify business expansion opportunities and convert them into actual revenue figures.
  3. Identify, search, and contact prospective customers to build genuine relationships, find solutions they need, and generate future sales and repeat business.
  4. Provide customer feedback and market information on competitor activities to the sales leader and other appropriate contacts within the organization so they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
  5. Build and maintain effective working relationships across functions such as marketing, customer services, and logistics to fulfill customers’ demands.
  6. The sales specialist shall also be responsible for matters ancillary to these sales and marketing activities, as well as other matters assigned by the company, acting reasonably.
  7. Undertake other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. At least 3 years of sales experience in the dental industry or medical device industry, with implant relevant experience being a high priority.
  2. Experience working in multinational companies is preferred.

Customer-oriented, a team player, agile, embracing change, proactive, with a “can-do” attitude.
