A service engineering firm based in Kuantan is looking for a Sales & Service Engineer to assist with day-to-day operations. Overview

Cheme Advance Services Sdn Bhd – Kuantan, Pahang

The Sales & Service Engineer is to assist the Senior Engineer and Manager for the day-to-day activities and to report to the Senior Engineer and Sales & Service Manager for completing tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the quotation / proposal upon client requirement
• Perform related tasks assigned by superior within timeline
• Support and provide advice to team members when required
• Work hand in hand with contractors and customers
• Compile the commercial proposal inclusive of all the job scope such as civil, M&E, test run & commissioning as well as operation (if any)
• Represent the organization in dealing with client, supplier or other bodies
• Involve in system design, development, testing, and site supervision
• Customer support / troubleshooting and resolution
• Provide phone and on-site customer support
• Ensure customer sites comply with all parameters from rules and regulations
• Assist boiler inspection with JKKP and customer
• Assist sales in wastewater, boiler, and cooling water treatment
• Administer customer field training/education (formal/informal) including documentation and procedures
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time

Qualifications

• The candidate should possess at least a Diploma, Degree or Higher in related fields in Environmental /Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical Engineering/ Science or its equivalent
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
• Good in writing of technical report will be advantage
• Possess own transport with valid driving license and willing to travel
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Willing to learn & meticulous
• Preferably at least 1 year working experience in service field
