A leading company in the manufacturing and distribution sectors is seeking a Sales Representative to enhance market growth in the KL & Selangor region. The successful candidate will drive sales, foster client relationships, and provide exceptional service aligned with strategic goals. Applicants should have a diploma or degree in Business Administration along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience.
Job Purpose:
To drive sales growth and enhance market penetration within the KL & SELANGOR region for our manufactured products, particularly in the pet food or general manufacturing sectors. This includes actively identifying potential clients, fostering strong customer relationships, and delivering exceptional service in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.
Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the manufacturing and distribution channels.
Maintain regular engagement with existing clients to encourage repeat purchases and promote new product lines.
Territory Management
Develop and implement effective sales plans specifically designed for the Perak region.
Conduct frequent market visits to observe competitor activity, pricing dynamics, and industry trends in the manufacturing and pet food sectors.
Structure route planning for maximum efficiency and customer coverage.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and nurture long-term relationships with retailers, distributors, and bulk buyers.
Provide professional support before and after sales, including technical advice on manufactured products.
Address and resolve customer concerns swiftly to ensure continued satisfaction.
Reporting & Documentation
Submit detailed weekly sales reports, customer visit logs, and competitor insights to the Sales Manager.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of quotations, orders, and delivery tracking.
Maintain a current customer database and an updated sales pipeline.
Work closely with logistics, production, and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery.
Share feedback from the field to help improve product offerings and marketing strategies.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and internal sales reviews.
Compliance & Representation
Adhere to company policies, pricing strategies, and credit control procedures.
Represent the company in a professional manner during all interactions with clients, partners, and external stakeholders in the KL & SELANGOR region.
Uphold company standards and confidentiality at all times.
Key Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the manufacturing, FMCG, or pet food industries.
Strong knowledge of the KL & SELANGOR region and willingness to travel frequently.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
