Our respected client is seeking a highly motivated and professional individual for the role of Sales Representative with at least 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field.

Job summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, focusing on meeting sales objectives within the assigned territory, handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and preparing quotations.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Market Intelligence and Sales Strategy Formulation: Contribute market insights to develop effective sales strategies and stay ahead of competitors.
  2. Market Feedback and Competitor Analysis: Provide regular feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and market intelligence in the assigned area.
  3. Key Account Sales Management: Establish and service key accounts to drive sales and maintain strong relationships.
  4. New Customer Sales Acquisition: Identify and open new quality customer accounts to expand the customer base and increase sales.
  5. Customer Relationship Sales: Build close rapport with customers and provide high-quality services to drive sales retention and satisfaction.
  6. Project Sales Follow-Up: Follow up on ongoing projects to keep them on track and achieve successful sales outcomes.
  7. Sales Project Monitoring: Monitor project status to ensure timely completion and sales closure.
  8. Customer Account Sales and Credit Management: Manage customer accounts to ensure payments within credit terms, protecting sales revenue.
  9. Upholding Professional Sales Conduct: Maintain professionalism and ethical conduct in all sales interactions to uphold the company's image.

Job requirements:

  1. Degree in engineering, polymer science, polymer technology, material science, material engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, or other relevant fields.
  2. Good attitude and willingness to learn.
  3. Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of working experience in Semiconductor, PCBA industry, Medical, Automotive, Optoelectronics, LED, or related fields.
  4. Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
  5. Ability to negotiate with customers at all levels.
  6. Ability to make product recommendations and provide technical support.
  7. Proficient in computer skills (Windows and MS Office) and English communication skills.
  8. Strong organizational, analytical, technical, sales, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  9. Independent, self-disciplined, able to work with minimal supervision, and a team player.
  10. Willing to work in the Johor office.
