A dynamic chemical company in Kuantan, Malaysia, is seeking a Sales Executive to establish client relationships and develop sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of sales experience. This role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyze market trends. Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients. Develop and implement strategies for retaining existing customers through follow-ups and resolve sales related issues proactively. Lead the negotiation process with prospects, ensuring mutually beneficial pricing and contract terms. Handle inquiries, address concerns, and close deals effectively. Research and evaluate prospects within the industry to identify sales opportunities. Analyse market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to determine potential business growth areas. Conduct product introductions, presentations, and technical discussions with prospective clients. Provide tailored recommendations and solutions that meet customer needs, while positioning company products effectively. Analyze past sales trends and market data to forecast sales performance. Develop sales plans and strategies to achieve short- and long-term goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Prepare regular reports on sales progress, market trends, customer feedback, and competitor analysis. Collect, analyse, and summarize relevant data to inform sales strategies. Set and achieve individual sales targets, track KPIs, and adjust strategies to meet business objectives. Support team success by contributing to common sales goals. Ensure the smooth operation of the sales department, assisting with administrative duties, order processing, and coordination of sales activities. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor, as necessary, to meet the evolving needs of the business.
