Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Merchandising of cosmetic products and managing the representation area.

Summary of Principal Job Responsibilities & Specific Duties:

  1. Check-in and complete tasks using RetailAIM Mobile Apps.
  2. Set up secondary displays/walls on time within the agreed timeline.
  3. Execute and oversee promotional campaign displays with visual elements.
  4. Conduct inventory checks on both primary and secondary displays.
  5. Verify product ranges and address OOS (Out of Stock) issues with supporting visuals.
  6. Ensure in-store fundamentals are maintained, including pricing, shelving, planograms, and cleanliness.
  7. Replenish on-shelf products according to FEFO principles.
  8. Negotiate for additional in-store displays by building rapport with Store PICs.
  9. Observe competitor products, promotional activities, and price lists.
  10. Promptly process sales orders.
  11. Provide timely feedback to key stakeholders regarding issues or assistance needed.
  12. Collect market returns as per schedule.
  13. Coordinate new store openings and store closures.
  14. Build rapport with retailers and resolve outlet issues.

Academic Qualifications:

Candidates must possess at least SPM, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in any field.

Work Experience & Skills Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in merchandising.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to work outdoors and travel within the designated area.
